Incredible weekend racing up north at Woodward West

    Racing conditions where:

    • Sketchy
    • Wet
    • Cold
    • Snow
    • muddy
    • low visibility
Snow and deep mudd turned into smoosh that made riding feel like riding on a chocalate cake. Pretty much it was no traction, slippin...g, sliding, big mud pools, caked on mudd on tires etc.

High altitude caused altitude sickness for me affecting my equilibrium and making me dizzy-light headed.

I crashed/fell twice not from riding the bike but from walking on black ice and walking one snow.

Super cool people chiln and snowball fiightn

Course was short, but wore manny people out because of snow/mud and altitude.

Sundays was clear visibilty but snow mixed with dirt and water made for crazy smoosh

Some knarly crashes into the mudd as racers lost control sliding out on turns (deep mud ruts) and also landing on deep mud pools after hucking on flat.

Checking out the Hanger at Woodward was a highlight. Seem some racers ride indoor bike park was sick.

Check out this thread as the many photo dudes and racers will be upoading photos and video.

Can't wait to race Woodward next year

    Peace

Ahhhh!!!! There is so much snow!

Overall a fun weekend. I wont say too much, after all a picture is worth 1000 words. First time in a while I will be looking for race pictures. Post up some links. I havent been following who is shooting races anymore.

I took the job of placing last in Beginner 19-26. My only real goal was to not go the hospital this year. And I accomplished that...
My little brother held in there for a 5th in Beginner 19-26.

Just started snowing as we arrived Friday at 5ish

Just a bit more snow Saturday Morning.

Little Brothers race run. He favors the cut through and rudder effect over the extra big knobbies for his tires.

My race run. I favor the scooter style of riding.
