Ride Report Southridge #3 Race Report

Today started well with a wet but ridable XC course. No rain during the race.

Saw a few familiar faces.

And then for the Super D, the clouds let loose and it rained for the duration of the race. Wets things down a little, fogged some glasses but didn't disrupt the proceeding too much.

And then it cleared for the 4x.
EC on his way to his 3rd win of the series.

Wow that course is looking tacky! Should make for a great race tomorrow if its like that. Should be some good times on the clock as well!
Im jealous!!!!!!!!!! Cold here and a month to go till Im back!

It was good to see allison today, she's Tiny now, she's almost as tall as me, and justin was saying she's something like 115 pounds now.
Justin also looked like he had dropped alot of weight, and seems to be in good condition.
Justin took some pics, hopefully he posts them up.

The Pro/Expert course looks pretty wild though. Straight down a waterfall.

I predict some carnage.

As long as you run a soft compound with a low lug pattern hookin up should be decent rain or shine!
Run the compression up a little and open rebound a bit to prevent dive and packing then nail it!
Get lots of pics!!!

i got there early with Neil to set up the ez up and display for the bikes.. we then proceeded to heckle mic from bionicon :lol:

the real reason i came out was for some moral support of Traci and her first DH race and to make sure she goes out there and rides instead of socializing.

from talking to nancy, Traci was riding well and able to clean everything after checking the sections out. here a junior pro rider watches traci riding

i also ran into Chris (slayer) and hid buddy (david?)
