Nah, but it's basically the same course used last November, minus the split.

hey guys, today is going to be my first time watching it in person. where's a good spot to watch the downhill sections? two more questions, is there going to be any vendors and are there going to be some famous pros out there?

Finally made it out to watch you guys tear it up. I wont be in a spectator next time. I went with my little brother to help dale run SD cards for his photos. I did take one of my one of the back of the One Ghost Industries support van

A little late on the response. This was not necessarily a great race to be a spectator. Since there was no split course for the Pros/Experts, the course was pretty mundane to watch. And while reigning National Champ Logan Bingelli was there as always, the pro field was a typical Fontana affair - no Aaron Gwin, Gee Atherton or even Neko Mulally. Mitch Ropelato won today. Other top performers included David K, Waylon Smith, Eric Carter, Cody Johnson and Kevin Aiello. Of those, only EC has his name on a product.

I hope you enjoyed it nonetheless.

    Fun times, hot and dry.

The winds HAD TO blow for the Sport / Beginner class. It is either wind, rain, and flying chipmunks that make it extra tuff for our class.

I broke a pedal hucking a small drop before the wall, rode on my top tube hunched over for about 20 feet, but managed to get in control.

See ya guys in 3 weeks, Next stop, the Nationals!

Healing vibes go to Doug in the 43-50 DH Sport class. Wind gust blew him off the race course and he ended up breaking his hip on the first right turn after the start gate.

Good God, that's awful - and what a stereotypical injury for the older guys classes! Healing vibes to our compatriot.
