    private forums create a feeling of elitism. i'm pretty sure the administrators are trying to keep that kinda stuff away, they aren't even displaying post counts...

    At my barber shop no women are allowed in the shop and you can look at Porno mags while drinking some PBR. Its funny because if a new guy comes to the shop and he is with his wife or girlfriend they have to wait outside. One time I was getting my hair cut and this mom say barbershop and she brought her son while I and her son was getting cut she had to wait outside.

    well, i stand corrected. a default install of vBulletin displays the post count in the postbit template (where your avatar, joined, location & thanks is)...

    Like he said, it's usually included where 'joined' is but that was taken out. Partly for the elitism thing but mostly so it doesn't motivate people to post whore.

    Look, you guys don't want to have access to the womens space. It's all PMS talk, hot flash crap, my guy wanted sex and I hated it/faked it as usual. Size does matter and how bad this months period was! Ya want some of that? Puh-leeze!! Even I don't go there!
    You guys should have your'e own space when you post up pics of some woman and say 'I'll hit that". :rolleyes:
    In your own space you can just beat each other up, ridicule how you look in lycra and who should or should not wear red shorts. And you can go on ad infinitum ad nauseum about Bob and natural male enhancement.

    As much as I'm ok with women having their own space it is kind of sexist. Women fought had for equal rights, good or bad, we should all be treated the same. Plus, my bike has no penis or vagina. ;)

    in the end woman want to be equals to men...so you should have to share everything. If you then get your own forum aren't you then being favored and thus not equal? So wouldn't an equal thing be for a guy to have his own forum?

    Oh yeah, and simply saying we're the minority so we should get special rights and access to our own special stuff is really bogus. Non-white races have been pulling that for YEARS! For instance...special clubs for specific races at local schools. When a club for a specific race of white people, like lets say Irish, wants to do that. They are called racist. This isn't much different.

    We're woman and a minority so we should get our own special forums to talk about things we don't want men's opinions on.

    Well you have it and men still have to listen to woman's feedback on the rest of the forums. What if we don't want a woman's feedback...oh thats sexist right...?

    I'll leave it at that.

    I don't really care either way whether we have our own forum or not (still haven't got access to women's forum yet, but would like to) BUT COME ON!!!

    This isnt about minority issues or equality or any of that, its about not posting stuff like PERIOD stuff in the main forums. Do you guys REALLY want to read about blood coming from down there... I could get more graphic but I'll save that for the women's forum where if I have a question about how a bike affects my nether regions I won't be embarrassed to ask...

    If anything it's for the benefit of the majority (ie men) to spare them from having to sort through posts about things they'd probably rather not read about/look at...
