got 2 things for sale.

1. Ride No. 4 156: Sweet all mountain and big mountain board. stiff enough to rock the steeps but soft enough to do minor park work. SICK amounts of base left. this is the predecessor to the concept series of boards. excellent high speed edge hold. blue top-sheet and white base. $175

2. size 10.5 thirtytwo prion boots. basic boots for basic to intermediate riders. stored laced up to maintain shape and heel hold. black. $25

please field questions.

I thought stiffer was better for park and vice versa ?

no, other way around. stiff is for big mtn and aggressive maneuvering. stiffer boards hold a better edge at speed due to the flex profile and generally more aggressive side cut. this gives the board a more responsive feel. beginners would see this as more "twitchy" due to the increased edge hold and the initial edge "grab".

park boards tend to be more flexible for easier presses, ollies and butters. they tend to offer more pop. edges on park boards tend to be less aggressive to promote a "washier" ride. this allows for easier setups for spin tricks. a good example would be the burton dominant slick from a few years ago. this had virtually no steel edges. the design used a recessed edge for a skateboard feel resulting from catch-free edges.

this is the generally accepted viewpoint in the industry, but there are some exceptions. much like in the mtb world anything larger than 6-7" of travel is considered a freeride or dh bike. although i have seen some guys climbing VP frees and stinky deeluxs up brown mtn.

bump. now on craigslist. i will offer str members a discount on the board, just pm me and i will let you know the price.

bump for upcoming snow!!! also considering selling a 2005 burton dominant 154 for 125. also, i MAY be selling either 2006 DC Allegiance boots in sz 10 OR k2 t1 boots in sz 9.5. i need one more day on the t1s before i give up on them. i don't think my feet like these boots. i'm gonna try some boot work before i give up.
