Does anyone know if the gate is still open?

it was a few weeks ago...... should still be open. Check the f/s site and click on current conditions, im not sure how much they update it but it has the status of all the gates.

think they allow riding there year round now. I have yet to hear them closing down for the frog (or is it toad) humping season in a while. If you're asking for dirtbikes or 4x4 anticipate OC rider led u right.

I heard that the toad humping season was delayed due to weather (extreme cold and late thaw meant their hormones didn't warm up in time).

At least, I think that's what I read on one of the Warrior's newletters (www.warriorssociety.org or something), back when I got the newletters.

i rallied up to the peak in my truck via maple springs just last weekend...the gate was open then.
