Did NOT pay full MSRP for 2012 Trek Superfly 100 Pro....

Instead, I bought a frame and fork and got the rest thru online deals.....paid about $3200:

Here's my 2013 Giant Trance X 29er. Just installed my new XT brakes last night. Loving it so far!

My first 29er. A Canfield Yelli Screamy. I really wanted a 29er that was nimble like a 26er. This has definitely met my expectations.

My On One Lurcher single speed with my On One Scandal 2x10. Almost identical setups just a lot less clutter and weight on the Lurcher.

I have been looking at building one of these for a while now. Looks great. What size fork are you running? I was planning on using a 100mm fork.

Certainly the most I ever spent on a mountain bike and there "was" some guilt associated with buying it. However, it is by far the best bike I ever rode. The guilt is long gone and with each ride, I love it more and more. Simply an outstanding bike.

Thanks! I'm running a 100mm fork and it's great! I mostly ride XC but I took it to Snow Summit a couple weeks ago and kept up with a lot of the downhillers with their squishy bikes. It handles awesome! The climbs can be a little jaring though. I suspect it's because of the short chain stays.

What is that? Alloy version of the Kona Honzo? 29er rear still?

edit: yea, still 29er rear it seems, considering it's rare to see the top of the tire come that far up relative to the seat collar.

My replacement for my Gary Fisher Roscoe. Trek and Cycle Werks in Costa were great. Joey, took care of it, even thou I didn't buy the bike from them. Will definitely do business with them again.
