I don't shave my legs or arms, but I love the way freshly shorn scrot feels on a chamois. you all should try it, it'll make you faster, keep the rash off and the ticks out, and it's much better for massages, I swear.

Let's see, in addition to those excuses mentioned already, I have also heard the following two reasons:

    1) It is easier to for the masseuse to massage the legs.
    2) My favorite: It keeps your legs warmer because cold air will penetrate the layer of hair and become trapped next to the skin.

The bottom line is that these are just excuses to shave their legs. Sooner or later I am sure we will see seven reasons why wearing skirts will make you faster on race day.

Nah-just kidding. I say do what you want to do. It's none of my business unless it affects me.

Who wants to help me shave Doug?

I figure 4 guys to hold his legs...4 guys to hold his arms...we'll need a weedwacker, 2 beard trimmers an 4 Mach 3 razors.

Here's the fun part...we're only going to shave the left half of his body...EVERYTHING.

Man, Doug thinks he's sketched out now on shaving...I wonder how he'll feel with 10 dudes shaving HIM!

The drawback is that hair hides scars well. If your shins and legs are as torn up as mine are then shaving is not a good option because is shows every scar in detail.

Great for story telling, bad for trying to get some.

    Naw

I am cool with you leg shavers. I have ridden with some of you guys and even had a beer or two. Just don’t ask me to go camping.:p;)

You guys keep shaving and I will continue to grow my flowing locks.:bang:

One last thing and then I will shut my pie hole about leg shaving. My kids like this Disney movie called “Motocrossed”. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motocrossed

In summary a girl poses as her brother and races motocross. In one scene it shows her at the starting gate and she is wearing finger nail polish. She starts winning a bunch of races and then all of the other boy riders start painting their nails.#-o:-k:lol:

My theory is that back in the day some euro road-racer champ shaved his legs to get rid of body lice or something and the rest is history………………;)
