sending important data over AIM?

    AIM has no encryption whatsoever which makes it really easy for someone with a bit of knowledge to encrypt your messages. If you ever send important or sensitive stuff over AIM, consider encrypting it.

    Use gaim (which also connects to yahoo, msn, icq, etc and also logs messages if you want)
