No this is the Gurp13 am I intermediate rider ride

This is a SART introduction ride, pace will be slow 'n easy and I will keep the climbing down to a minimum. I propose the route Ron Bigelow describes here (map, directions and profile on his page) http://www.ronbigelow.com/Outings/Trails/sart/sart.htm

It is not necessarily the best of the SART because it takes out the best part, the Post Office down to Middle Control Road, but it also takes out that 3+mile fireroad climb back to Highway 38. Ron’s route starts at the bottom of Middle Control Road (at the bridge over the Santa Ana River).

You ride up Middle Control Road, maybe a mile, to connect with the SART. We will go to Glass Road see how people feel and continue to South Fork Campground the whole thing would out and back would be 24 miles. No big climbs but all the little up and downs take a toll.

I will be in for this ride, but if I drive up there I am doing the ride starting frm the post office. That part is so much fun. I still park in the dirt pull over place and just ride down the road to the post office and then hit the single track down. If anyone wants to join in I should have maybe 2-3 slow paced riders with me.

P.S. I follow MTBBill's description

Oh sh*t! I knew it! There's a test! I hope there's no parallel parking 'cause I suck at that.

I am still in is there still interest?

Are you kidding? You had me at "Here it is."

I thought that Pain Freak wanted to go, too. I was hoping that some others from the IE wanted to carpool to maybe save you trouble. Otherwise, I'm meeting you in Corona wherever you specify. You lead. I follow. :D

We will re-group and come up with a plan Saturday evening, If it is just you and I that is OK by me.

I usually go up the Highway 91/215 to the 10, so maybe Corona is out of the way for you. I can use the Highway 15 to get to the 10 if it works better for you.

The 15 is even better but I'll do whatever's easiest for you since you're kind enough to guide and all.

Ride has been cancelled, We are riding Mt. Pinos, in the Los Padres Forest instead. PM me if you want more info.
