hey all, its been a few years since i road santiago oaks. Looking for the best way to get to robbers peak from the park entrance. Use to just ride up the 3 b's but i heard there is a better way, any advice?

3B's are the most direct route. they're not as hard as they used to be.

you can also get there via grasshopper, which is shorter but slightly steeper if I remember correctly.

The other way is bottom of chutes (zips) instead of going up the main chutes route there are bypass trails that parallels chutes and you just ride up to barham ridge coming from Irvine regional park then you can go down cactus and up bumblebee. Might not be easier but funner than grinding up 3b's.

It's the blue line on the map

from the map it looks like deer CCW is the most fun. When I go to places that I do not know, I look for the agressive tire tracks and follow those trails, it almost always works out well
happy trails
