RR: Return of the Jedi

I think someone needs to post a ride invite. Been far too long since i've hit the Santa Monicas.

Endo,

Until I see you hitting the ravine gap we built you are not authorized to alter any of the existing jumps in any way.

However, if you hit the road gap I built you have permission to do whatever the hell you want.

I'm gonna drag the hidden tools from lower to upper jedi this week.

VIVA LA JEDI!

Huh, how in the hell did you stumble upon this thread I wonder? Damn it and damn you, Kevin! :?::wave:

Ron, I had nothing to do with it...really! :-s

killer sunset tonight

those berms are really new, I had been noticing all of the other new work lately.

I think I still prefer the old -straight up- climb line on the section below the tree rather than the new meandering one.

Ahhh, all is good. :bang:

Its fun to see this particular ST take on its new shape. Before the bulldoze, that thing hadn’t changed in 20+ years, no kidding! Remember when everyone was having a tizzy over the bulldozing? It was a clean slate. Over the past month or so, both the Sulli and W. Ridge ST has really started to come along.

Oh Dusty.. I won't touch the jumps. But you should see me hit them, I get like 3'!

Oh, and thanks for the fridge magnet/calendar. I put it up next to the one from last year... I'm starting a collection.

No kidding the trail gnomes have been at work. Went up there Sunday and was surprised by all the new jumps and berms. Looks like fun, but not on my hardtail. Next time I'm taking the squishier bike down.

After Endo came down from taking these photos I met him at the bottom of Sullivan fire road, (it is the fire road next to Jedi or Sullivan Singles as others call it). Anyway we climbed up to the top and took a couple self portraits with the setting sun in the background. Endo took off toward the valley and I headed down Jedi.

Geez, the rifraff you see on the trails these days! ;)

Jedi is funnnnnnnn!

I keep running into endo lately. Luckily not literally.
