    There are not many under 18 Experts around. You might find two or so once in a while.

    well i was thinking, once i get back into xc type shape, of skipping sport and going straight to 3 laps.. then i would get used to pumping out longer laps so if i did have to drop back down for a national i could put in harder sprints in 2 laps... and i would get a 1st palce as long as a crossed the finish :?: :-k
    but then again, thats kinda like cheating

    well nationals are a ways away...
    if i can get my endurance up to speed ill be good to go... im not worried about winning especially at a national... but just finishing at a podium would be awesome..
    well, looks like i need to start riding everyday again

    Four laps is a long, long, long race. Last year, both of my legs seized up in the middle of the fourth. Nothin' nice.

    maybe ill have someone drag me across the finish line or something.
    4 laps is 26 or so mile with around 4500' of climbing on the fontana track right?

    mad props to gary!! All i can say to every one that gets a kick out of his crashes is, what were you riding only after six months on a bike? MAD {nothing mean or sarcastic meant}

    As for the new nick name I vote for VIVA KNIEVEL!

    By the way GAB ZINC IS NUTS!!! HE RODE A HARD TAIL SINGLE SPEED JUMP BIKE WITH A BLOWN FORK, PUMPED THE FORK FULL OF AIR WHICH PRETTY MUCH MADE IT RIGID I THINK IT MOVED ABOUT AN INCH OR SO, JUST SO HE COULD STILL RACE!

    I think the better question might be how many of you still don't ride after three years around mountain bikers???
