Hello Racers, Support Teams, and Industry Partners,
Only a few more days until the 2008 final race! This final venue for 2008 promises to be an incredible experience, and a great way to end the year! We have accumulated the largest list of bike venders SoCal has seen in a long time. The support from the industry is incredible! With over 30 venders on board we are starting to look more like a mini SoCal Interbike than an Endurance MTB event! The great news is that there are more teams preregistered for the Nov 15th event than ever before. Should be some amazing racing going on! Also another plus with having all this industry support is the amount of SWAG that I have to raffle off at the end of the race. I could probably open my own bike shop! For those of you who don't stick around after the race, you will be missing one of best SWAG raffles of all time. Some of the raffle prizes include:

6 certificates from CYCOPATH bike shop for the following-
$500 off a new Intense Frame ( any Intense Frame )
    Free bike fit
10% off all accessories and parts to build your new bike

    - Cycopath has also donated a brand new complete Singlespeed bike for raffle!
    - Spinergy has donated a set of xclycone disc wheels. They will also be on hand with demo wheels for you to try. I am also trying to get them to sell the demo wheels at the end of the race for a super deal!!!
    - Wiens Winery has donated a case of special wine. We are adding a special gift to this wine. Each bottle of wine will come with a custom piece of bike jewlery crafted by Anthony Capone.
    - Nimbus water company has donated 2 RO Mini watermakers
    - Vassago bikes have donated a killer BANDERSNATCH steel 29r frame to the mix!
    - Niterider will be on hand handling all your changing and light needs. Plus Niterider will donate lighting systems.
    - Ayup light swill also be on hand with demo lights and killer lights for sale. Ayup will also donate some lighting systems.
    - Gary from ESI grips will be out with us and has donated some of the lightest most comfortable grips on the market.
    - Intense tires have donated some of the fastest tires on the dirt!
    - Vigor Helmets will also be out with us and have donated some great new helmets.
    - T.H.E. always donates some of the funnest stuff. I look forward to seeing what Gregorio brings out to us. Will it be Back packs or smoking jackets! We love it all!
    - Pro Motion Sporstwear as always are a pleasure to have at our events. Pro Motion provides our Tshirts for the event. If it werent for Mike and his support I dont think we would have such awesome tshirts for the event!
    - Hammer Nutrition has truly stepped up with the support for this race series. I am proud to have them on board. The amount of product they have donated is incredible. We will have all the Hammer Gel and Heed electrolyte drink mix we can handle. These guys are first class and the support is amazing!

These are only a part of the many venders coming out to the event! For a complete listing check out
    http://www.12hrsoftemecula.com/VENDERPAGE.html

For those of you looking for a new bike for 2009 this is the place to look. We have most of the major bike brands coming out to the event:
    Intense Cycles
    Turner Bikes
    Ellsworth Bikes
    Trek
    Canondale
    GT
    Chumba Bikes
    Vassago
    Siren Bikes
All these bike manufactures will have some sort of demo fleet on hand. Check them out and tell a friend. If you know anyone who is in the market let them know. I guarantee you you not see another gathering like this until Interbike next year!

A few houskeeping notes for all you racers and support folks:
Registration and packet pickup are as follows:

Pit areas will be in the grass areas around the swimming pools and the pond area. There will be no parking on the grass! It is first come first served as far as space is concerned. There will be a special area for solo pits!

There will be a mandatory meeting for all racers at 8:00 Am before the race, in front of the registration desk!
There is food at the venue. Renaud Catering will be on hand with all your culinary delites. Also on hand will be Juice it up and Wetzel Pretzel. Any idea how many teams (4 person, duo, solo) are registered? You had mentioned it will be the best showing to date...I was just wondering for the sake of curiosity.

    Oh and Solos

    Solos look like 75+.
The categories that stand out are the jr solos = 4-5
    Women pro's = 8-10:bang:
These categories dont normally put up a lot of numbers. So I am super excited to see the battle. The ladies talent pool will be out in force. It is going to be awesome to see these ladies battle it out!

    4-5 Junior Solos?!?!?!

So cool! I told Willie tonight that maybe Gene Capinas might be out (Willie and Gene duked it out last November), but 4-5 in the Junior cat.? That's a real race! Can't wait for the weekend.

But, we've just moved house and I can't find any of my stuff... :(

    Aw, jeez.

I know there will be beer flowing in the pits, don't let that side track you.

    My goal is 9.
