a few buddies and myself will be going out there early Saturday morning and returning the same day.

I might be down for this. I need to get some slicks or something to throw on my ride. My dad used to do this ride all the time when I was younger.

Slicks???  just pump up your tires to 65 psi and you'll be fine, besides it's  more fun when you can just hit the dirt on the side of the road to pass up the slower people.  gotta go with the knobbies

had a great time today, i was really happy that i reached my goal, i made in under 3 hours ( just barely)

my time was 2:59:34 no stopping at all.

hope to have more of you guys join me next time around.

Hector showed up, didn't get to see him finish. he brought along a friend and his sister, so i'm guessing they just cruised it.
