Sounds like a plan we need some good jumps in Yorba Linda.

Put word out about getting a bob cat.

I'm in. its one place that's actually relatively close to me, so I'm more than happy to come out and dig/design.

I'm also getting my jumper built up, so I'll have somewhere to use it :bang:

how much rain are we going to need before we can do any decent digging? 2"? :?:

also, we should try and find some 55-gal drums for water. we can fill them somewhere, and just truck them right up there. use a hose to siphon it out. helluva lot easier than 5 gal buckets...

I can probably help with at least one breaker bar, shovels, tamps, etc.

also, if needed (and people pitch in for gas), I can probably bring along a generator and a jackhammer. that's assuming the neighbors don't mind a little clatter :?::lol:

that thing will punch through a lot of concrete, so it will dominate the dirt out there. no shovel attachment, but it kicks the crap out of 5 guys with breaker bars. I hate those things...

of course, if people wanna donate to the company, one of these would make things easier too

A group of friends that I rode with back in the 80s started calling it the Yorba Linda bowl. The part that we rode back then was on the other side. It was more like a bowl. That location hose a hose to get water and it has a couple of hip jumps.
All the big stuff has been torn down.
The place where we have been going now can keep the bowl name but it is on top of the hill by the dam and the horse ranch.
It is easier to get to and it wont disturb the people in the houses.
I think the people that had to hear us kids making all the ruckus decided it was time to take down the jumps.

I talk to the land owner last year and he gave me/us permission to build a BMX track and some Jumps. His only request is that it have some things for his son that is 12 to ride. Small easy jumps for him to learn on.

Aslong as everyone is repsectfull of the hose stable that are right next to the location everything will be fine.

The large Double is called The Big Kahuna .

I called and left a message and I E mailed the land owner a minute ago. I will have to see when he gets back to me.

I don't think it will be a problem just as long as we keep it cool and safe.
We can drive a Bob cat right up to the jumps. Who has a one we can use?

Please take a look at Tim Luberski and his company along with his accomplishments.

The man truly rocks. He is about healthy living and keeping it real.

You can thank him for letting us use the land for our off road enjoyment.

Yeah and you can thank me later Ha Ha:lol:

cool. let us know when you hear back from him.

with regard to tools, bobcat would work really well for moving a lot of material. I think ricky has a hookup somewhere, but I could be wrong.

If all else fails, man power will prevail and we will have jumps one way or another

we can man power jumps, I would only bring in the bob after a good rain, that way were not dusting out everyone and we can dig, build and shape with no problems,
if someone has a big truck we can use and a sheet of plastic we can make an improvised water truck, Ive done it before

Just get a few 55 gallon plastic drums, in the bed of someones truck, or on a trailer, and run a hand pump to a hose. I've had to hand water 50 or so trees like that for over a year, and it worked great.
