Just got off the phone with Mammoth.

Practice tickets are $20 per day and cover the race lift only. Upgrade to full day lift ticket is another $19.

Race day lift ticket is free.

Chair #1 will be running to take racers up. They will have a Van running for transportation from Stump Alley.

    Hope this helps.

I am assuming that "Top 1" means the top of Chair 1 which is Broadway Express. This is the chair that they will be using to take the racers to the top of the course.

Quite a bit of uphill space between chair 1 and 2. Well it looks like we've got a climb at the begining then, since the black line is the race course...

The gal that I just talked to said "We don't run the chairs!!", I asked about even for the race? her reply was "well..... maybe chair 1???" #-o(fwiw - I was told Chair 2 by 2 different sources a couple of days ago)

Uhg - I don't care, just looking forward to having a great time racing & riding in Mammoth :bang:

Part of the fun when I was racing was not knowing what the course was. There were 3 main courses at big bear but they made small changes each race. We didnt know what the exact course was until we rode it. The first ride down the hill was fun because we didnt know what was behind each turn.

Who cares what the course is, just be excited that your racing on a real hill and not Fontana.

Im racing Kamikaze and I have no idea where the course is. Without signs on the hill I wont even be able to find the start of the race. Im just stoked to be racing again.

I'm not complaining!!! 40 bucks to not have to sit in a hot van with sweaty dudes is worth it to me lol

And the pass doesn't get you access to the whole mountain, it's just the race courses.. And i won't be riding the whole hill i'm just up there for the race and cruisin around town

I think BB races were $10 (practice only) but we always had season passes. Of course there's inflation, gas prices, etc., etc., etc.....

Hear ya on the Fontucky shuttle system #-o but with a chair? running I would believe you could get in quite a few practice runs if nothing else....but the all day/all mountain pass makes a lot more sense:lol:

Season pass holders can ride all lifts at no extra cost, other than race registration.
