Downhill Ride report from an area near Clairmont.

Man what a day to ride. The air was humid the lightning was off and on. Reminded me of my Marine Corps days in Quantico, except no bike back than. BIO and I decided to ride some gnar dh, and got it. The hike a bike sucked , but a reward awaited. There are sick lines out there. I would like to time myself and stay to the right ending in the grove where the fab jumps are. That riding is just my level, if the jumps were bigger, I would have crashed, but that is how I learn through pain, like a good Devil Dog. I'm having a difficult time uploading pic. Pm if you want pic.

 

I F***ing LOVE riding near clairmont! I may be out there tomorrow morning if any other peeps are cruzing out there. :wave:

Marshall, I need you to spot me on that gap jump in the middle of the dh. There are sick lines. The dude I rode with would not do any of it. Go hard or go home....

from your crash report it doesnt sound like youll be riding anytime soon. in the mean time it sounds like well be riding for you. ill be there this weekend. cant wait.

But for those of us that ever make it outside the greater LA IE area there's an area in SD named Clairemont. It's near the 52/805/163 triangle. Better known as Clairemont Mesa.

I live in Clairemont, and let me tell you it aint got shit on Claremont.

 

I think SJT is just one long single track trail to the bottom with no jumps or thills... except the fear falling off the cliffs...

but im still up for it sometime.....

 

and WEB dont have S**T on wistler but does'nt mean i wont ride it..!!!!!
