Race Report: Southridge Winter Series Race #5 (Finals) 3/6-7/Photos (merged)

If your interested, i have this old 35mm camera for sale.. its in pretty good shape, comes with tehcinical flashing, and other zoom lens. its an minolta x370s with two kalimar scoper lens. Im not quiet sure what year it is, but it was my grandfather's and has been sitting on shelf. not sure how much it worths but shoot offer if your interested.

and ER.. uh.. i dunno what it or this but something went wrong.. she just bleed bad and has real bad pain down bottom.. I think its cancer, but we will see what lab finds out. drove her to the Naval Hostpail in Camp Pedleton base at lunch break. spent 6 hours there.

 

I had a great time for the Finals this weekend! I will have to agree is the uphill SUCKED!!I should have brought my XC bike! But over all the course was a lot of fun with all it's rock gardens. Saturday, we got there a little later and met up with Traci. We hit our first practice run with Tony, Traci & Bryguy. Tony worked with me through the upper sections. The Cal State side I remember from Super D the race prior and I loved swooshing the the "S" turns. Sunday I did two pratice runs solo! I really was having so much fun over the top section I had to tell myself to rest! Race run was a ggod start. I was little slower then I wanted to be over the first up & over rock garden but from that point on a drop back over the rear tire and let it fly the best I could. I loved all the fans cheering along the course! I hit the saddle pretty good, remembering what Nancy had taught me the race prior! Then around the rock drop down the wall and then hit the burm. I had enough speed to get up the hill before droping into the valley. Drop the gears and try to peddle. I look over at someone yelling at me to peddle and it was RL "Bossman" was runing beside me yelling encouragement! I gave it my all then a few other familar faces as I crossed the road ringing their bell! I'll tell you everyone that was cheering me really helped. Thanks to everyone! Then through the cal state side I have to say was so sweet! I felt like I flowed every line just like I wanted to! Thanks to checking the pics I kind of looked like I knew what I was doing! HAHAHA!! Dang after watching that video it looks like a super D/DH course. That uphill section looks brutal, then the wall....WTH!!

Hey Mikelord....wheres your 4X pics from the last race?

 

There are some online but i've been having some serious connection issues. I have 200 photos. some are online but not all. I will try AGAIN tonite and hopefully it goes till the morning. I'll post a link when the gallery is complete. Sorry about lagging on the 4X and saturday awards.
