Ok here is the official ride report thread

    Official xray results

Fractured growth plate in left thumb, and yet once again...... Radial Distal fracture left wrist.

Course was effin awesome, couldnt have had more fun. Left the start gate, took about three pedal strokes, and washed the front end. Like an idiot I tried to catch myself, resulting in the aformentioned xray results.

At first I was pretty sure I just jammed it, but Donny was sitting there in the rhino saying, "If yournot hurt, you can have a do over" So I took it, got caught up behind another rider from teh saddle to the road, its all good, ended up with third place.

I had a good time, just wish I could have been partaking in the post race beverages with everyone.

With everyhting that has been happening, and all that is to come, It would seem I will be sitting out the winter series and playing coach. See you guys at the Banquet

wow. I didn't realise you effed your hand again dustin. that's a major bummer. at least you got third :?:

I enjoyed the race. got to meet up with a bunch of people I havn't seen in a LONG time, and it was really cool. made me think of all the people that I've come to know since I started racing there in january. it's a LOT :)

race-wise, I had a clean run, only slow through a few turns. pedaled my arse off at the wall (almost ran out of gears), and wasn't completely demolished at the end. I suppose it wasn't enough though, and I ended up with 9th in my class. I'm a little disappointed, but oh well. I did win a pimp t-shirt and a saddle in the raffle though.

congrats to everyone that came out and raced, whether they did well or not. anyone that got hurt, I hope you guys heal up well.

overall, though, it was a good weekend. A great way to conclude a year of racing in fontucky.

My RR goes like this, I showed up early, hiked up to test out the knee and ended up having to walk a few sections so I did not race.

I did walk up and back down snapping a few photos here and there sooooooo ...

i started freaking awesome.. had a extremely clean run, rode smooth by the downhill part before the little bridge, flew through the rock garden until the LAST rock before u go into the wall section (the one you have to zip zag to go though). i clipped with with my pedal and went flying.. i was like NOOOOOOO!!!!!! bailed, sprinted to my bike and kept going. I got 6th with a 3 min flat.

i'm so disappointed in my stupidity.

PS: if there is any photo of a black Demo 9 and a orange shirt.. plz send it to me.. lol. # 873Y

I took second in my first race!

I took second today in the 35-42 beginner class! I felt like I had a pretty clean run except for one section where I lost momentum going into the right hand turn at the top of the hill where the beginner and expert split. I was having some shifting problems along the wall but I was almost out of gas anyway. My second place time was 2:53:01 the third place winner was 2:53:05. Now get this...the winner had a time of 2:33 and change. Can anyone say "SANDBAGGER". 20 seconds faster than me. Second through fifth were all within a few seconds of each other. His girlfriend smoked the pack in the 34 and under beginner women, I think by 18 seconds. Julia would have taken first if it weren't for her. I had a blast anyway and can't wait to race again! Dino, thanks for the tips ;)

I took a few photos today. It was my first time ever watching a race in person (rather than seeing it on tv).

Hope this link works, as I have never attempted creating an album for people to go to. Oh, and if you see yourself on my photos, please let me know! I had no idea who I was taking photos of. I know I got the pros, but after that, I have no idea.
