Quail Trail/Serrano/Upper Laurel/Bommer Mileage

My son and his buddies are planning a long distance run tomorrow morning, and he is asking me the mileage for this loop: Quail Trail to Serrano, under the 73, to Bommer Ridge, under the 73 again into Bommer Cyn , and Shady Canyon bike path back to Quail Trail.
I recall seeing the distance for this loop posted on the building at the entrance of Bommer Cyn. I'm not sure if it said 12 or 14 miles.
Anybody has the exact distance?

 

I logged 16.2 miles on MTB rides that seem to be the same as you described: http://ridewithgps.com/trips/333390, but this is from my house. Take away the distance from Quail Hill Trailhead to my place (both ways) and you probably come out to 15 miles.

 

I just did a quick calculation from you post^^ and it came out to 13.3 at the trail head.

 

Yeah, it actually looks like 14 miles if you look at the trail head location and where the elevation is the same. I didn't know it was a full mile from my place to the trail head #-o
