here is my On-One Ibred 29er. I'm loving it. A little heavy with the big tires and brakes (about 26lbs) but has made me think twice about hardtails. I only remember it is a hardtail on the really gnarly stuff. Floats right over the sand washes. Really fun bike. maybe I will put it on a diet someday.

These frames are on sale right now too if anyone is thinking of one. Only $260 if you can believe that! I highly recommend it. use "bornaninbred" coupon code

Finally decided to put up a pic of the new rig. This pic is up at the peak for the tail end of the snow a few weeks ago. I put about 350 miles and 65,000 feet of climbing on it in the last five weeks and it just keeps getting better. Surly is a winner with this frame for sure.

I put in a few more changes. I think DOG WALKER is in his final iteration.

    Build from last summer:

I've since upgraded wheels (Arch's+White Ind ENOs) crankset (White ENO), carbon DH bars and have been pretty happy with the Continental RACE KING 2.0/2.2 tires.
Picked up some Hope brakes. After riding BB7's for a year I could not believe how great modulation feels. LOVE HOPEs (thank you Cal Coast Bike for fixing them up for me!)
Tires are fairly light and handle well for me on the SoCal summer hardpack.
Jones bar was nice for LOONG non-tech rides (i.e. fireroad) but not so great for typical SoCal fare IMO.

My Niner One 9 with a fresh powder coat. Thanks to Kimmi (Krunner44), Greg (Hotchkiss), and the boys at Fullerton Bicycles (Mike, Ryan, Ozzie, Fred, Dino, etc.).

This thread made me want to give my ole trusty steed a makeover. Same rig just tuned her up, replaced what was needed and threw on some fresh powder coat

Let me know when you roll through my area again, Adam. I think I'm feeling sick already and probably can't go into work that day (which ever day you're around.)

I'd be lying if I said I knew the actual color name, it's a transparent copper/bronze. In different lighting it has hues of both

OK, I'll play. Recently posted here. Surly Ogre. Singlespeed for now, at least. Still trying to figure out gearing.
