    Wow, I've always lusted after a Black Sheep. Did you happen to ride it to Old Camp today? I got a quick glimpse of someone descending on what looked like a Lefty conversion.

    Finally got my SS together! Picked up a 07 Specialized HardRock off ebay a few weeks ago, had it powder coated at Embee and got it together last week. First ride was awesome, took it over to Santiago Oaks and did some grinding! It's been about 12 years since I've ridden a hard tail and my first ride on a SS, what a work out! I'm not gonna hang my Stumpy FSR in the rafters just yet but I'll definitely be mixing my rides between the two.

    did a little conversion yesterday as I love my Fargo soooo much I had to make her a single.....
    thank you Phil Wood for the philcentric BB! no magic gear needed, no half link. Just 32x19 all day long!

    Rides just like I was hoping, super smooth and flies on the uphills.

    Here is a pic of my 29er ss that I just finshed building up. Lynskey Pro 29er with Lynskey carbon fork. American Classic wheelset, EC90 carbon stem, bars, and seatpost. XTR race brakes, Phil Wood BB, Eno crankset, XTR race pedals.....19.5 pounds.
