I'm guessing 20lbs (without the Garmin).
    How'd I do?

That's pretty light for a road bike.(<-- just ribbin' ya for the rigid fork)

    It's official...

I joined the ranks of SS and 29er riders all in one day. Not only that, I didn't have to change my STR name after the purchase!

And I still have *NO* idea how I talked my wife into letting me buy this.

Since I upgraded, I've been on this bike almost every day. It's about 21 lbs, but rigid ti fork can be a bit harsh. But if I didn't want to take the bumps, I'd be road biking instead.

Just don't tell my wife.;) As long as I ride them all, she has no problem with the stable.

The gearies take up more room in the hanger. I'm probably going to have to sell a few off to make room for a new one this spring...

Vulture, hey I know that guy.

I have a Vulture too. It's my only mountain bike so I treat it like an all mountain bike.

    First the frame and fork.

    Then built up rigid.

It's got a Reba with a coil spring on it today, but who knows what it will have tomorrow.

I think you are pretty close.. I never took the time to weigh it, but everyone that picks it up says the same thing...:bang:

And I love the carbon fork.. It has it's place here if i want suspension I grab something else out of the garage.. But I have noticed that riding it rigid will tend to make you pick better lines, and in turn has helped me become a better rider, Rigid is not for everyone or everyday but in my quiver it does have it's place...

    Cheers

Sweet Carl. When did this arrive? Might this be your choice for the CC?

I built this right before the Rwanda ride. Need to log some major miles to SS. But it's a possibility. Else, I may just throw some gears on it and cruise the CC since I'm really behind in my training.

Gene, where's the pic of your new Rocky?

Here is my rig. This is my second SS, but have to say it is rather portly for a hardtail. With all the 29er craze going on I may find a sweet 26er frame on the cheap.
