first pic is of my evo, i had a laguna seca blue one until a dealer wanted to buy it, it had avid juicy carbon, fsa carbon cranks, marz z1 lite, dt swiss 340, it was a great bike; the orange evo is my friend's bike, the second pic is of me on my evo at san juan trail; i also have a xcl.. i dont have a pic of mine -- will try to take some --- but i posted a pic of my friend on his xcl

Ha Ha Red Trek is just hangin around.

It rarely makes it into pictures. It has a Amp research for and Bullseye cranks and hubs. My friend Jay built it up a long time ago and I keep it racked tuned & healthy. Its a great bike for people who want to try try out mountain biking. A lot of people started out on that bike. This from long before I had a garage full of Chumbas ha ha.
Now for the best first time experience I just stick the new rider on a Chumba XCL and watch them smile.
I think the XCL is my new favorite ride.
I have been riding them on my sales road trips but I never really had the time to compare them to other bikes.
It seems that it can do everything well.
I might just have to try one at Fontana.
If my shoulder ever heals up.
