Here she is:D. Bike Co. scale was broken so I don't know the exact weight, but she's light. Anyone with a digital scale mind if I use yours, so I can find out the exact weight.

My first ride will be Saturday if rain doesn't mess up my plan. I'm thinking Holy Jim to the Peak and down upper Holy Jim to Trabuco

Very nice Steve, you sure didn't hold out on any of those parts did you?!!! I've got an Ultimate digital scale....but I'm kind of far from you....let me know if you want to come over and use it. Sounds like a LONG ass ride you've got planned for it over the weekend, good luck with it!

If no one closer to me has one I'll make the drive up.

It's not that long...but hey that is the whole point of why I got this bike

Werd, I'm off today so if you want to come up here sometime today that's cool....I'll be here.

Bro that's a long ride! Or at least it has a crapload of climbing. The climb up to the Peak from Holy Jim isn't much fun that last mile or so. Either way that will sure be a good ride to break in that sweet bike.

dude....sweet friggin bike (even if it is a Turner :) )

man, next long climb we are together on is gonna be that much harder for me to keep up with you!

congratulations.....you did WELL!

Damn Stevo, that's a lot of bling parts on that bike. How much was the final hit money wise?

that thing is F'n sweet looking! Will be waiting for the "Virgin Voyage" report on how she handled it all.

Nice lookn' rig.

I have a scale if you want to bring it by. I'm going to guess 26.2 lbs if those tires are 2.1's

Very, very nice build. No-one could keep up with you on your Enduro, now we're going to really have to put rocks in your Camelbak instead of just talking about it

Med cage rear derailleur? I thought big ring heroes like you always choose long cage. Got to have that carbon bling I guess. (note to self, call Larry and change order)

Re your proposed ride - I don't know dude, that sounds like a long painfull day. Upper Holy Jim and Trabuco are great rides, maybe just not on the same day. We'll see.

Are those UST tires Steve? If so yeah I'd guess right around 26lbs. Lighter wheels/tires would get you into the mid 25's probably.

Craig you can't do that ride on Saturday because you have to join us on Sunday, its been too long!!! What's the ETA looking like for your Flux being done?

Aren't there going to be a few hangovers on Sunday? I figure do a big ride Saturday, take it easy on the bevvies Saturday night, and I'll be able to hang on Sunday with those puking on the climbs

I called Larry today to check on the progress of my order and I think he forgot about it because nothings shipped yet. He promises this week for most of the stuff. I still need to figure what I'm going to do for wheels. Those I9's are tempting. I'm going to Sea Otter Thursday and I'll see if there's any deals there before I order anything. In other words, I'm a ways off before I'll be riding anything new.

ps - What's the deal with everyone changing their handle lately? I though one needed to wear those ill-chosen names for eternity - like a scarlet letter. How does skinny, bald guy sound?

Oh yeah, forgot about my party....you're right. Probably won't be doing anything too big on Sunday.

If you're thinking of spending that much on an I-9 wheelset then I'd just go with the Crossmax SL's.....spending close to $1k on wheels just doesn't make sense to me. I've been seeing some good deals on the SL's lately....and they're tubeless rims which makes things easier.

The new name change thing is the cool thing to do nowadays.....get with the times. skinny, bald guy is ok....but how bout skinny, old, bald guy :p

Just what you needed, a lighter bike. Thanks for the pics, btw--last time I'll see it up close, I'm sure :D

Seriously, sweet ride. Nicely done!
