took a road trip to Crested Butte, been parsing the videos & found this 8 minute jem -- near perfect run (for me) combined with near perfect video capture (for me)

best to enjoy on a large screen device.

Cool long, beautiful trail. Looks like (and sounds like) dude was on a hardtail. I found myself wanting to rail the upper rocky part on my own sled. Interesting how many people were stopped on the side of the trail. This looks like one of the old-school singletracks that were common in CO in the '90s. Basically hiking trails, so they were straight with no wasted energy. A modern MtB trail would throw in turns, grade reversals and maybe a few little integrated rollers for increased interest. This looks to be a classic "ride to enjoy nature" type of trail. Back to the roots of MtB - makes sense, since it's Crested Butte.

Thanks for sharing. MtBing is fun!

Cool video, the place is beautiful. I need to ride there some day. Your next upgrade should be a type 2 derailleur though, keeps that chain much quieter.
