I have to give Mondo props for fixing my bike. I was having major ghost shifting on 6-9 on the rear and the chain would jump off the middle chain ring if i got out of the saddle to an attempt to gain speed for a hit/jump. Mondo left me an email, so i called him to discuss the issues. after a brief conversation on the phone I was set to drop my bike off on friday the 7th. I was unable to drop my bike off after work, but made arrangements to drop it off saturday afternoon. Mondo opened his shop on the weekend to fit my schedule! :bang: after another description of what issues i was having, Mondo recommended smaller things (basic tune and shifter cables) rather than major component change to keep the cost down. The tuning consisted of true'ing the wheels, removing and cleaning the chain, cleaning of other components, tuning shifters, dialing my brakes in, and he even hooked me up with a cassette that he had laying around! Mondo said the bike would be ready for me to pick up monday afternoon! talk about turn around. i am not a pro biker, just a hard working american that appreciates honesty and hard work! My bike will get mondo's attention from now on! got the bike yesterday and rode around the block before hockey, and the bike is smooth again! i couldnt believe it! shifting is snappy, smooth and instant!, bike rolls 100 times better. definitely worth the drive out there. he even let me ride some of his personal DJ bikes that he was putting together.
