#-oOk, so it finally happened. Riding back home through town, I approach a curb like so many times before. This time though I'm a little lazy pulling up and instead of bouncing up and over my front wheel makes solid contact with the curb lip and over the bars I go. The only bouncing going on is my body of the concrete. Oh well, it has been a while since experiencing an excellent crash, and since the left side of my face is still swollen this morning, I guess this qualifies. Had forgotten how much pavement hurts. The looks on the faces of the people I passed the rest of the way home...priceless.

Hey, no fair! I had to post pics when I turned my face into hamburger! Quit yer belly achin and dig out the camera! (kidding)

Seriously, tho, really sorry to hear you went otb. Hopefully it isn't too serious. Heal up quick. By the way, although scars on the face look cool to guys, chicks hate em. I cleaned my facial injury up really good then slapped a Johnson&Johnson Advanced Healing bandage on my face. (The only time I've had a Johnson slap my face, thanks) Those bandages work great. They come in a silver box in varying sizes.

    Healing vibes, dood

Yeah, this thread is useless without pictures! Action pictures are preferred!

    Gravity sucks, huh?!

As my father told me when I was young, just after smashing my thumb with a hammer, "It'll feel better when it stops hurting."

Thanks dad. I'll never forget that moment.

Heal fast bro, but yeah pony up on the pics, you can't say"my face was swolen" with out proof. People didn't/don't believe i had a bruise from love handle to ankle, but the pictures speak for themselves.

This just happened to a couple XC athletes in Mammoth when they hit a fallen tree-log.
