Yeah, I saw a guy go down hard on the first dh with the sharp right hand turn. Felt bad for the guy.

Today was a lot of fun as always! It was great seeing everyone again.

Its nuts how many Fullerton kits are there. Just about anywhere you look, there's someone running the red and yellow, makes me proud to run it myself. Lots and lots of fun :)

Can't wait for the pics from HighRev, those guys have been doing a great job.

...and before I forget, huge thanks to Dino and Mike for doing a great job at the top of hill. You're a bigger help than you even think.

Had a great time again tonight. I ended up finishing my race (B3) in almost the same exact finishing position and time as I did in week 2. No so bad I guess considering that it was roughly 10 degrees warmer and I had ZERO time to warm up.

By far, the highlight of my evening was watching my 4 year old son Tommy race - and WIN - the tykes and trikes race!!! He's the little guy in the left of Highrev's photo above with the red tank top and the red and white bike. I'm SOO proud of my little guy!!! Hopefully there's more photos of him as neither my wife nor I got any good action shots of him.

Way to go Laurence (aka skirt count)...

He's only been racing for one month, took home the first 1st Place of his mountain biking career. (may have been his first top 3 ever)

No doubt he learned a lot today (see what happens when you race smart)

Thanks Dino! I actually took 3rd in the second race but I remember you saying and I quote "Second place is the first loser" haha, so 1st feels a lot better.

I did ride smart, there's more to it than banging out on the pedals as hard as you can. I also learned how to turn a little here and there ;)...training pays off!

Feels great to bring a win to the FB camp.

Fun as always. I took a step down to B2 this week due to a lapse in riding the last few weeks and getting killed in sport the last two races. Needless to say I love 2 laps, my smile was bigger at the end of the race than it has been in a few weeks. My proud moment was watching my wife come in on the tail of the 1st place finisher. Her second race ever and now her second cup. Probably taking next week off, but will enjoy hearing all your stories. Thanks as always for the support Dino, you are a good man. Thanks for the pics Thomas and highrev they are awesome. Good night y'all.

Great job to all who raced OTH tonight.

Hugo's first mountain bike race and he places 8th in single speed. Good stuff

How about Tinker taking out Gritters? Impressive!

Tonight was an awesome night for me and the family! Jackson, my three year old, got to participate in his first bike race with the Tike & Trike event. As for me, I was finally able to pull down my first pint glass in S2 with a 9th place finish. Despite a strong start, I was not feeling it my first lap. You know, that voice that pops up in your head and says "why are you doing this". Started to get down to business and put up a good second lap. Then dropped hammer (at least ball pein size ;)) and had a great third lap, managed to pass three people in my class on last half lap which made the difference between mug and no mug. Got whole family out there tonight to experience a terrific night of firsts!

Just curious, anyone know why they're having a 3 week break?

I sign up online and always saw that they have all the dates listed, but I never actually went through them all. I just sign up for the next week's race. I found out yesterday about the break, just curious why? Heat?

Gets very warm out there in early/mid July.

We did the same thing last year. Plus it gives everyone a chance to recharge for the final 6 races.

Well, with you and Dan gone next week maybe I stand a chance at 1st. Corey is a fast, smart racer though. We'll see.

Brandon was so proud of his Wife (we were too!) that he forgot to mention he took 2nd place last night.

I didn't get as strong of a start as I wanted, but I was right behind Corey (who has been in the top 3 for 4 weeks now) and wanted to see how he's doing it out there. I lost visual of him and Brandon on that flat section in the back before that last longer climb and didn't see them until the finish. I finally got into the top 3 and got my shirt! I'm very happy about that.

I really love the battle going on within the top 10 B2 riders. Like Laurence, I'm noticing it's the smarter rider, not necessarily the stronger rider, that's taking the lead.
