My ride plan today was:
My house > ALiso Creek Trail > Cooks > Harding > Upper Holy Jim > Lower Holy Jim > Oneil > Arroyo Trabuco Trail > Home
Ride started out good and fun. Lost all tension on my derailer cable. So I was struck in granny rode down Upper Holy Jim. Theres alot of brush on the trail. WHo ever brused it didnt kick the branches off the trail. Went down lower Holy JIm. Trabuco Creek Road was slow cause I was stuck in 3:1 The bolt fell out my derailer like a half mile down the road. So I had to walk the bike and I hitch hikes with some ppl returning from the fire man's picknick. It was a sweet 46 Willeys jeep. HAd fun cruising down some side trails in it. I got picked up by my mom at the Country store. We cruised over to Switchback. Hopefully I wont need many new parts. My bike is worked! WOrst part of the ride is not haveing a bike for SUnday. not getting the extra milage through oneil, and not being able to ride home.

That was one ambitious ride there matt!
Sux about the mechs, but you ride's in good hands there at Switchback!

Good job Matt, as strong as you are, it is time you ditch the gears and get a light 29 inch wheeled singlespeed.

i defently want a 29er ss. the new steel fisher looks so sweet. And the niner frames are awsome to.
But this ride would take for ever on a SS. Trabuco creek road, the aliso creek trail and the road miles are alot of spinning on the SS

Matt,
You're a sick puppy.

Damn, that's an ambitous ride.
there was actually one crazier guy out there. he rode from dana point to harding. Stashed the bike at 4 corners, and ran to the peaks and back to 4-corners. he said he was training for a adventure race in AZ.

lol I havnt broken that many things on my cobia. But the SS did break alot. I got a new chain and stuff for it and still havent got it working. Everytime I get it working it lasts for a while but then it loses it. maybe I shoulda left it at Hurkey Creek. ](*,)
