OC Ride on Thursday PM

I'm going to try to leave work early on Thursday and try to ride before the rain on Friday. Any OC location or Turnbull Cyn is cool with me if anyone would like to join. Haven't been to Aliso Woods in months so that would be cool. Thinking to start riding about 5:00, but I'm flexible.

Sounds excellent! See at Cook's at 4:00. Let's try to start close to 4:00 since I don't have a light with me.
 
Don't worry about lights, last night was a full moon and moon rise is 18.42 tonight with no cloulds forecasted. Give me a full moon ride over lights any night.

Disclaimer, I strongly discourage poaching during full moons.
 
I am going to try to do this ride tomorrow morning if anyone wants to go. Actually, I'm gonna do Whiting/STT/Luge/Whiting/Arby's.

Haven't you heard that Arby's only serves singlespeed mtn bikers now :?:
 
see you guys there. I'm without external lighting too, so unless ladd brings some solar driveway lights that I can stick on my helmet, I'm hoping to finish before nightfall.

But as they said, bright moon, few clouds, and twilight until ~7:45. Should be good barring any unforeseen probs.
 
Nice ride today, guys. Anyone find out what happened to Matt? Highlight of the ride was Ladd Jasper (Dell) jumping the gap at the Luge (successfully and with style) and then crashing into me (I was off the trail, but not too far down the trail). I'm fine, but he took a good tumble. How you feeling Ladd?

Yeah, style. You're too kind, Pete. And a heck of a backstop, I might add!

The elbow cleaned up pretty well, just a little scrapeage. Feels like my hip took most of the force. Must've tagged a rock when I tumbled, it's aching pretty good. Could've been worse, for sure. Head's fine too. No residual bell-ringing here, nope ](*,).

You O.K., Matt? Sorry you missed the show, buddy.

Let's do it again soon, fellas--got me a big ol' grudge!
 
Good ride today guys. Never thought this ole' loop could cause so much blood.

Good job to Pete and Lance for charging up to Old Camp with me, and Dell [-(. I had a little slideout fall on one of the left hand turns right before the 2 jumps. Awesome job clearing the gap at the Luge Dell, and a very exciting crash:beer:.

OC, how was your ride home??

So I know I'm late chiming in on this, but I have to say that the nevegal in back and blue groove up front are a GREAT tire combo. Not the lightest tires to push up hill compared to some others I've run, but their downhill prowess makes up for it.

Enjoyed the ride yesterday boyz!:beer:
