    Hi all, just moved here from long island, still have ny plates on my gold saturn, staying in altadena. found this site and joined cause it seems like a friendly and upbeat group. I started riding about 9 mounths ago but have been on dirt bikes and quads alot. see ya on the trails, Mitch.

    welcome! altadena is a great place to be for enjoying the mountains. I'm in playa del rey (beachside of town) and I find myself up in altadena just about every weekend for biking, hiking or canyoneering up in the mountains in your backyard. Pretty often there's some arranged shuttles to drop you at the top of mt. wilson, here's the site I use to get in on that http://www.scoaoutdoors.net
