That pix is the closest I can find to what they are now developing. The new sliders are beautifully machined and actually have degree increments to accomadate slippage. A friend of mine at Lynskey has them on his rig and loves them, I trust his thoughts since he can generate some pretty big wattage on a SS!
Your Vulture drops are the Sh?t, by the way!!!:bang: :bang:

I thought I had it all figured out on frame materials, I guess not!

    Congrats on your new roady!

I just got mine a couple weeks ago. Also level 3 custom size large 1050 grams but I left her brushed ti and minimalist decals. I worked with Jesse and David and they were awesome. They called me at various times from beginning to end of the process and probably spent several hours total with me.

I put all dura ace and EC90. I had a friend build up some dura ace/open pro hoops for me which are beefier than my race wheels. She weighs 16.4 lbs w beefy hoops/armadillo tires and 15.6 w/ the kyseriums and vredsteins.

I can't even describe how much better, faster, sweeter she rides. Insanely stiff at the BB but totally forgiving on long rough rides. She feels like she wants to go faster and is pissed 'cause I can't satisfy her need for speed. My benchmark time on the 16 mi out and back here in Mojave on my steel lemond zurich was 38.5 minutes; it's now 33.6 minutes and I'm out of shape.
She and I have a thing going on...

I'm totally envious of your coming SS.

I know, I'm lame with the photo thing. I'll try to get a couple and post - I just want to ride it and hold it and love it and pet it and, well you know, no time for pictures:lol:

    Hey FFW
That is great you had such a killer experience with Lynskey!
Jesse unfortunately has moved on but he is coming to Socal a day before SOC and driving up there w/myself and my family to partake in the festivities:drunk:

Lynskey's resident pro/mutant Sara Bresnick-Zocchi will be meeting us there and camping with us also.
Her and I will be representing Lynskey Performance at SOC, should be a blast. She is a top 10 Norba/World Cup racer8) , I am a lowly amateur:lol: , can't wait to do a couple laps with her though!
I fully agree on the ride quality, the bike wants to keep going and going and going and so far the ride comfort is bar none. I am going to try for some good saddle time tomorrow and see how it goes.
I have some Open Pros laced to some DA hubs too, there is something to be said for spokes on a long ride. The Ksyriums are not the most forgiving of wheels!
I spoke with David and Tim today about my paint job on the SS- the frame is finally ready for paint-, they were able to make it happen so now it is up to Mitch Reynolds to make it a reality!
We shoud start a Lynskey club out here, I am sure we would have their support!:bang:

I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but after you get the pink paint scheme and headset, these wheels would be a perfect match for your bike. :D

I have been rocking the Bianchi PUSS for a few years, it doesn't get much "pinker" than that!!

Well, here are some crappy photo's of the new bike. My camera died while shooting these. The bike is kinda plain - brushed ti and carbon - but I like minimalist and don't have to worry about the first chip or scratch:lol: I really wanted to get some pics with the F-4's, Drakken and Mystere's in the background but airport security said no[-X
If you look closely you can just make out an F-4 in the distance.

Lotsa ti and carbon - The Specialized saddle is the best I've ridden ever
    [IMG]

my beefy training and DC wheels - see the tied and soldered DT revolutions?

Tax refund is coming soon and a mtb frame is calling to me...
