My friend Augie destroyed my previous record of 8 non stop climbs at the ave. C ramp in Redondo Beach, by doing 14 climbs! So I challenged myself try to match that, and somehow pushed myself to do 15 climbs without a dismount. The average grade of the ramp is 23%, or so I've been told. I think it may be closer to about 20% but after just a few climbs it sure feels like 23%! Length of ramp is 215 feet, and total distance for 15 climbs is 3,225, and same for descents. Took about 19 minutes to complete, but for the video I sped up the footage quite a bit to shorten it to just a couple minutes. I see lots of runners doing circuits here and it's also a great hill training for bikes. Thanks to Augie for the inspiration to go for it!
