New 2007 XTR details

Their whole XTR line got upgraded plus they added a new 20 mm thru axle

It looks like they are bringing back rapid fire shifters. Too late for me seeing as how I just discovered Sram thumbshifters and like them.

Did a good job on the rear derailleur--looks simple but sturdy. The "X" is a nice touch, at least on the RD. Looks rather forced on the Dual Control levers. I like the idea of chainring compatability as well.

im sorry.never did care for the roadbike style shifters. theyve fixed a problem that nobody had.

To late for me. I already switched over to Sram, and I couldn't be happier. I don't think I'll be buying any XTR products anytime soon.
