For J_Sims. Sorry for the crummy pics, I failed photography in HS...but you get the idea. Took it on a local trail today to try to dial it in before Mammoth this weekend and man, what a fun bike!
Nice!! It may be breaking some rules, but I still think you should get 2.3 Spec Chunder tires Especially for Mammoth!
NICE!!!!! you are going to have soooooooooo much fun... mine was sitting in the garage just glaring at me when I went to get the RIP out this evening...
Chunder! :bang: The choice of Pain Freak.... Allison... Mechmann and ehh, throw my name in there too!
:-k All of the sudden I want another bike.. although the bank account is not yet full enough to empty out.#-o its either a FOES, Yeti, or another Chumba next. (cant wait for tax refund) Great looking bike! Not enough black though..8-[
That's what I was thikin cause I see the U-Turn stuff on the Stanchen(spelling) but I can't figure out which one...#-o
The Boxxer is the only DC they have, I think. But, that doesn't look like any of the Boxxer lowers from their site.
sweet bike man. have fun in Mammoth. The fork is a Boxxer don't remember the model but it could be a Ride? I believe it was the only one in the RS dual crown lineup with travel adjust... also it's an older discontinued model.
Thanks for the compliment guys. I just took it out for a quick loop at the local trailhead and it rode great. I know climbing it isnt one of its better traits but it was better than I expected, especially at its weight. The ride down however was pure fun! I cant wait to see how it'll behave in Mammoth. Jeff, its a 06 Boxxer Ride. As far as the Chunders, enough people have said good things about the tires to make me interested. Maybe I'll need to make the change if I pinch flat the Kendas again.
All this big bike talk is making me want to bust out my Haro. Since I'm starting at BB on Saturday, it's also got me thinking about employee purchasing an ASX frame :bang:
Come up to OC and I will let you take mine for a spin... But be preparred to start swapping parts over and selling the haro frame:beer:
