How often do you fall on your elbows?

So today was her rotator cuff repair surgery... everything went well and shes passed out recovering now. Once we can take the dressings off I'll post some post-op pictures.

put her back on the bike as soon as possible-even if its around the neighborhood as to shorten the time to get over 'the fear'. hope she gets better with the quickness.

Mathis definitely has some ruts that you can't avoid if it's your first time and you've never gone down it before (and are going fast). At those times, all you can do is manual it or pray your suspension can suck it up.

Might I suggest having her take the BikeSkills class? That was definitely a confidence booster for me. I broke my wrist last September and I was definitely gun shy about going down anything sketchy (for me) after that. Joe Lawwill cured me of it. :)

++1 on Joe's class in Bike Skills. I took a NASTY bike breaking spill on Rockit a couple of years ago and was mental on that section, yet would ride anything else and even worse. Took a good tongue lashing from Joe about the those 'little baby heads' in the better line and what was my deal.

Joe can teach things hubby's can not. (and you should NOT be there when she's in his class). She'll get back in time.
