I finally did it, I went and bought a new frame, an 05 Trans Blue Heckler. Kevin at The Bike Co. gave me a really good deal that I couldn't refuse. I picked up the frame Saturday, and took it to Robs that night and we began the build process, we finished everything sunday afternoon. BIG THANKS to Rob for doing this for me!!!

nice! hav fun
how much does it weigh?
Does it climb okay?

We just weighed it last week and it comes in at a hefty 33.6 pounds! More exercise for me though, lol. I'm considering buying a new, lighter fork when the time is right, that would knock of at least 1 pound. I may also buy a new wheelset and possibly "Stanitize" them as well.

As far as climbing goes, I havent had any trouble at all. Everything I cleaned on my Enduro I've been able to clean on the Heckler. I never weighed my Enduro, but I think it was a tad lighter than the Heckler. The DHX is super plush and keeps the back wheel planted on the downhills and the ProPedal keeps the thing from bobbing on the climbs. The bike feels much more solid and stable than my Enduro did when descending technical singletrack and it really rails the turns.

I'm a happy camper. :D
