My Hayes tatto

Well maybe not a tatto and more like a branding.
I installed it last Thursday and it's already starting to fade.
I showed it to my wife and she said "OUCH". My reply was "Hey, it looks pretty cool eh?" lol sometimes she things I'm nuts. 8)

O man, that's the best rotor brandage I've seen. Can't begin to imagine how much that hurt. How'd it happen?

Too bad it wasn't one of those custom Hope rotors with the $ signs in them. That would be money! :lol:

After burning my hand twice, I reversed the QR lever on my front fork so that it wasn't on the same side as my rotor.

Bummer about the burn but it does make an interesting scar.

Yeah I heard about this "tip" So I take it it doesnt affect anything except cosmetically your QR's are on opposite sides?

Clamping pressure is clamping pressure. It doesn't matter which side the QR lever is on as long as it fits. Some forks have knobs on the lowers that require the lever to be placed in a less than desireable position though so take that into account.
