For the first weekend I actually rode “well”, at least for my standard. I started Saturday morning at Aliso (Up Cholla, Down Mathis, Dripping Cave, Up Mathis, Down Rock it and Coyote home). I actually made the climbs with little breaks and for the first time got down Rock it:bang: !

On Sunday I rode a new trail for me (Chumash in Sumi Valley), with the exception of a run in with some purple star thistle #-o I did pretty good.

But the highlight of my weekend was yesterday. I did Sycamore using Backbone and Guadalasca trails. I could not believe that for the first time I cleaned all of climbs and “floated” down the descents. At one point I actually caught and passed someone on the climb\\:D/ . We came out of PCH and were supposed to meet out wives at the beach, well they meet Zuma. So we tighten our suspension and took a 11 mile victory ride down PCH “peloton” style. Anyway I was so excited that I had to share, overall mileage over the weekend was 51 miles.

Good job dood!! I think u're ready to ride w/the big booyyzz on the Fullerton Loop!! :bang: Be there on Wednesday @ around 430 pm!

That's very cool. Being a newby i've recently had days like this and it gets you back out there ready to take on a new challenge. Whether it's going down rock ledges or faster up a clime...it's all good.
