My cheaply homemade bike rack...what do you think?

    Yea I have a kayak cart that I made out of PVC beginning of summer, its starting to get brittle...ratchet straps basically holding it all together now.

    Everyone telling you to take the reflectors off YOUR bike is BS! I would consider putting at least 5 more reflectors on each wheel.

    Actually goes to a parallel universe, just like in the Simpsons behind their book shelf. I don't recommend going in though...

    I was just going to find as many reflectors as possible and just cover my wheels in them. Added weight but pure badassness of it will prevail.

    3 Years and still going. I just leave it in the bed of my truck. Maybe because I painted it it's protecting the PVC?? :-k

    if you have a truck bed why do you need a rack? a tie down for each side of the bar and your good to go

    Refelctors make a wheel out of balance. At speed you'll notice a wobble.

    The second pics looks like a frame-killer. Um- yikes?

    Just get some tie-down extensions from a m/c shop, loop a snare-loop on each grip, then use a tie down for each bar end... works for rigids, boingers and dirtbikes. Then ya wont need all the fret-work and lumber etc....

    The dork disc severs a couple of functions, leave it on till ya know what yer doing with the tools and such. Esp the 'L' range screw on the rr changer.
