So, I'm thinking of hitting up Mt.Baldy on either Sat or Sun 1st/ 2nd July.

I'm driving from Burbank if carpooling is an option.

It's $25 all day.

Any takers?

Fun ride beautiful view on both sides of the mountain. No need for a DH bike, but that's just IMO. Climbed it last weekend with Dirty, Jon, Epic, and Kirk. The Dh goes very quickly.:?:

I haven't ridden the snow summit trail so can't help out on that info, i'm sure Dean can, eh? The section we did on Mt Baldy was between 4-5 miles. We climbed it on a pretty casual pace, dh seemed like it only took a few minutes. It was still fun. Glendora Mt road hooks up below Mt Baldy village. If you shuttle from CWP or Marshall Cyn you can do them both, with a few miles of dh road riding through Baldy Village, if I'm not mistaken.

I called them on Tues or Wed, left a message and never heard back from them. pah! I can ride fireroad for free.

Maybe you'll have better luck - go to http://www.mtbaldy.com

Anyone interested in doing a Sycamore/Guadalasco loop ( from the valley side ) this weekend?

Me and the wife did it last weekend for our anniv. Reserved a campsite, setup shop and rode all day Saturday. Did Syc/Hell Hill/Guad and Backbone all morning Sunday, then goofed off at the beach for the rest of the day. It was nice.

We'll be exploring the SM's this weekend, wife's breaking in her new Juliana.
