    Good thing for helmets.

BTW, click the button that looks like a film strip ("Insert Video"), and enter the youtube link in the dialog, to embed it.

Whoa...Poor guy, I cringed when his back and head hit the ground. It almost seems the motorcycle didn't even notice them because there's no obvious sign of braking happening. Glad these guys are alive.

Those guys were all the way over to the right and still got hit. Never, ever gonna take up road riding. At least when I wreck on my mountain bike it's probably my own damn fault.

That's a weird one. Trying to imagine the moto looking in his mirrors for that long (but around a bend?) to not see em.

Well, glad they weren't injured. On the plus side, somebody's getting a new bikes worth of carbon parts!

Wow, I sure hope he does not have any back problems after that hit. Sure he walked away but he had to be sore in the morning. What was the guy on the motorcycle thinking?

This^ That's a corner just above the Rock Store and there are craploads of videos of idiots crashing their motorcycles there. I won't go near that area of the Santa Monica's on my road bike. Latigo is almost as bad.

Sadly the guy wasn't even going that fast. Looks like he just wasn't paying attention.

As a moto cop instructor I would use that video as prime example of target fixation. I would bet he had his eye an the cyclist the whole time and rode right into him. Happens all the time with newer riders and guard rails. Luckily he wasn't riding as fast as some of those guys or roadie would be way worse.

^^^^^ as a moto rider thats what i saw
You go where you look and he prolly was looking straight at the bikes ,you can actually see him pick the bike up mid corner and straight into the Roadie

I only ride my Road bike on bike trails and never in this type of canyon as i have seen stuff like this before

at around 8 seconds, you can hear the cyclist in white sing the broken bone cantata. i cringed. he walks away, but that crying moan means somethings broke.

What was going on there? Why was there so many people in that corner, filming? Nobody looks like a pro, It doesn't look like a race but then a support van shows up.

That's racer road AKA the Snake up above The Rock Store on Mulholland. People have been racing up and down that section for years. I used to frequent the place in the late 80s.

I usually don't ride Muhlholland, but when I do I prefer to be driving a Subaru WRX.

That's what happens when you ride your front wheel (motorbike or pedal bike), good thing the squid on the SV wasn't going any faster (actually looks like he was in over his head). Remember people...look where you want to go, not where you're at (you're already there anyway). Healing vibes to the roadie.

That was sad to watch. IMO the rider was not experienced, his body position and putting a foot down is a give away.
