Monster T vs. Fox 40rc2

I wouldn't recommend a 40 for hucking. They are made light for racing and have been known to break when hucked off huge drops. Go with a 888 as it can take the abuse and won't slack out your v10 as much as a MT.

I don't do much in the way of gravity testing with free fall, personally I use a 40 with a medium spring that FOX provides and I go through most of the travel while riding trails like Tunnel in Santa Barbara with a bit of speed. I use to roll with a Shiver and have noticed a jump in plushness and consistency through the travel range, also less flex at low speed manuvering... I suppose the added rigidity might lend itself to the failures, but I'd have to think you're doing some extreme stuff to bust a 40. :)

don't worry about using the fox for freeriding Strait won the last Rampage on one of them...remember a no hander off the Bender Sender a 65' step down
i would like to see a broken dual crown any brand
but if people have spooked you any marzocchi would rock
peace
