So how did everyone do?:?:

 

The event was awesome.
I got there on Saturday afternoon and started walking the bottom part of the course. Riders were flying down that section. There are some killer shots.
We'll have some pics later today and the video will be coming soon...I am 90% done with Fontana #3

 

my RR goes like this,,,,,, bootleg is sick, anybody that's into DH should make this a race not to miss....We, my wife and I, headed up Friday afternoon... I left Pasadena at 2 pm and didn't make it to Vegas til 10:30..... with the rain and snow the freeway was a mess..we where both pretty wore out from the drive.... Saturday we (Gil...Gil Caz on STR and I) did 5 runs and sessioned a few spots... I did only one run at sunday morning's practice and waited to watch the pro's... well the Athertons, yes Gee and Dan raced.... back to my race...my run was good, I hit most of my lines.... then the bad part.... The timing system was a joke.... I waited around for 3 hours after my race run for results....they said quote "we have the names and times but not the order"...what the **** does that mean???????..... I still dont know how I finished or what my time was...... but besides that it was a blast!!!!! Thanks to Denmo, Rodger, Gil, and the D'elia family for dinner and conversation after the race.... Cindy and I hope to see you there in March!!!!

Denmo's RR

First off, thanks to Downhill Mike and his crew for putting together such an awesome race weekend!!!

We had a great time at Bootleg as always. It was cold and overcast and fortunately we only had to deal with the wind on Friday. The turnout was great including the number of women who showed up. There were actually 7 women in my class, Expert Women open!!! My knee decided to give me grief all weekend so I had to concede early on that pedaling was not going to be my strong suit this weekend. After a few meltdowns and some sucky practice runs, I decided to make the best of it and came in 6th with a clean, moderately paced run. Roger had 4 in his class and came in with a solid 2nd place. Eric took some awesome photos which I will post as soon as I get them.

For those of you who can, you should make it to the St. Patty's Day Feast race next month, we will be racing the same course!!

Don't know, they screwed up the results for his class.

 

Wait the Pro class results got screwed up? That cant be good.

 

No, Troy raced Expert 19-29. USAC would not grant him a Pro license upgrade for both DH and DS/4x so he is staying in Expert for now.
