RR Moab Utah 24 Hour Race


I’m going to be short on this one just b/c I CAN muhahhahahhahhhahhaha!!

To start it off I have to report that this trip was freaking ASSOOMMEE!!! I had a kick ASS time out there and can’t wait for the next time. We took off last Wend night and made it out there on the afternoon on Thursday. This was my first trip to Moab so I was taking pics left and right!! Really cool stuff out there in the middle of no where!! ;oP I have tons of pics so I will post a few cool ones later on today when I have some free time. Short version of what prob lots alrdy know. Mother Nature was not cooperating with us on this one. We had a nice storm that killed the event and the mood. Some people got hurt and some people jus left home. It rained for 8 hours plus witch gave us tons of mud and slippery rock!! Lol Yeah what a mess. Ohh well next year I will try to make it back for sure. Cheers to all the cool people that got it going and big props to all the monkeys that kept on riding to the end. The trail was freaking fun with lots of technical spots both up and down so this wasn’t a walk on the park by a long shot. There were some tuff chicks kicking the living shit out of yours truly!! Ohh boy. They where even freaking friendly tooo while they was kicking my ass!! ;oP

Ohh yeah btw. We hit the slick ROCK ride on Monday!! Ohhh Jesus!!! That shit was off the hook!! (Will post pics too). If u guys ever get the chance u must try this ride. SOLID tuff and fun!! A MUST for any Mountain Biker.

Thanks for the RR. I have been reading about the event and how unhappy some people are on how Grany Gear handled the re-start. Glad you got out there and had a sum fun.

We need to put together a STR St. George/Huricane trip now that the weather is cool. Also a Epic Riders trip, to Sedona in November, is starting to form.

How's about the weather? What if it Rains?
Moab is in the high-desert so it rairely rains but the weather get cold and windy if a storm front moves in. The long-range forecast is excellent but it's always a good ideas to keep an eye out for any changes.

First are shots when we got there!! there was snow up there alrdy!! then u have the start of the race!! yes almost everyone there had spandex on!! (except me Muhhahhahahaha!!:bang: ) last shots of a few friendly racers, yes guys!! they was all over the place and they can ride bikes and actually love the dirt too!! how cool is dat eh!!

the shot of Mike the mech has the wheels. Cant see it too well b/c of the file size limit we got here (that sucks assrotest: ). If u gotzz to see em I will show ya in person. DT SS hubs on salsa rims. Had to keep it gaNgssta Black on Black w/PLATNUMM nipps. They're just new wheels thats all.:-$ :beer:

The file size limit for attachments is fine (488k).That photo you're talking about is only 375x500 pixels. THAT's why you can't see the wheels too well. Don't size down your photos so much and remember to adjust the jpg quality accordingly.

This photo, for example, is under the attachment file size limit (it's 470kb)and is plenty big enough to see details. :lol:

If you're on windows I suggest you try out Picassa. It's free and has built in tools to adjust quality and resize.
