you know how they say you're not suppose to try out new stuff on the bike before a race... well screw that. XTR shifters, XTR FD, XT cassette, and XT RD installed today and ready to kick ass next week! and i'm still pending some parts in the mail!... ;)

I'm in...first time racing. Figure I'll try sport class. Don't have a race bike but my Mach 5 will do just fine.

Damn, I'm out guys. I crashed yesterday pretty hard. My knew is tore up and worse the ligements behind it feel pretty "off". I can't see myself back on the bike for at least 10 days.

I paid $40 for the two races though. Any refunds?

bummer!! Hope you heel up quick. I'm sure you saw this too, but I just registered and read this online. I am sure best person to double check with would be Matt Wenger.

If the registrant can not make the rescheduled date, the registrant acknowledges that NO REFUND or CREDIT to future races will be granted.

Yeah I saw the no refund policy. Not a huge deal as I should be able to make the second race and I did sign up for both. Just hold on to my tee shirt please!

Usually a big mix in the beginner category, least when I raced it there was. There were guys that were new to biking let alone racing. It came down to who had the best fitness (but I guess all classes are like that ;) ) Hopefully there won't be any sandbaggers.

I wonder what a decent time is to complete the 4.75 mile lap . It takes me about 15 minutes to go that far to work when i ride there.

Anybody else ridin solo? No friends could make it with me, so we need to set up an str booth or soemthing so I can have someone to chill with haha
