pretty flat/short course eh? I'll be there in sport (are there age groups posted yet?), but expert looks doable!

I put it on the calendar last week

    parking and class information

Parking is free! Irvine Lake is the location (south of 241 Chapman exit, at Lake entrance signs will direct you to free parking on the right). There are no fees for spectators.

It's definitely a shorter course, which is why we included 2 laps for beginners, heck after 1 you're just getting started.

Class information is posted now, without ages: we will announce the official age breakdown on Monday August 24, based on ridership. (Though we want the Clydes, there will be no official "Clydes Class"--we did give you your XXL shirt though :))

Racers: $25 day of, so save a buck and jump in for both and a t-shirt for $40.

    Cross Bike?

Will the course be overly technical? Will Cross Bikes be allowed?

Hopefully the classes don't end up being too small. 5 year age groups at a lot of events often don't get enough riders to make a category competitive. I think the more people in a category the more fun it is because you're more likely to have competition close to you. I like categories with 15-20 riders because there usually ends up being someone close to me I can race.

Regardless, I'll be at the first race. Looks like a fun event.
