Marshall Canyon; Sunday, July 24th

Who: All Mountain Bikers
What: XC ride, we plan to climb up to Potato Mountain from the bottom of Marshall Canyon followed by lengthy downhill runs.
When: Sunday, July 24th Meet by 7 am, Ride start: 7:15 am
Where: Meet at the Oak Mesa School / Park parking lot ( 5400 Wheeler Ave., La Verne) off Wheeler Ave in La Verne (Directions: from 57/210 junction going East exit at Foothill Blvd., stay right and proceed straight to Wheeler Ave. make a left/North, go up Wheeler ave. till you see Oak Mesa school on right.)

[-o< I was counting my blessings last night. Tom C. took us for one hell of a nite-ride. I should of picked this up when Tom C. started putting on elbow and knee pads in the dark. Kick Ass hill climbing and the single track that kicked my ass in the dark. Some of use sustained minor injury but all ended the ride in good shape and smiling faces. The hills did claim Armando's seat (broke at the frame area at half way point). Tom had been reading up on his bike mag and did a number with a tire tube to do a temp. fix. Looking forward to the next ride into the sunset. Will be out of town this weekend and will miss the Sunday Ride. Will hook up next week or weekend. Bike Safe. Later.

last night was definitely a wild ride, loads of fun and thrilling over all. Thanx to Tom C. for introducing the group to Webb Canyon. i'll be trying to get a replacement seat tonight, i'll be tweaking my derailer back into place also.

Sunday will be just as thrilling but much safer, lol
